Today was my first real workout in probably 20 years. I got on the treadmill and I decided to see how far I could go in 20 minutes. I averaged about 2.8 miles per hour and got in just under a mile. So, my first goal is going to be working toward completing a mile in 20 minutes. I also did an upper body workout consisting of the lat pull, incline bench, and a couple of other machines. Right now, my arms are tired but it was great to feel the endorphins kick in!
I was able to push through a barrier at about the 12 minute mark on the treadmill. I really wanted to quit but I pushed and made it to 20 minutes. Haven't done that in a long, long time.
Tomorrow will be more cardio.
