Lots of things going on right now. Camps not too far off. Two sessions, one is a Sr. session that's hosted by another church and then their is a Jr. session that's hosted by us at Lake Shore. I'm glad we don't have to go too far for camp. I do enjoy the time at camp though but I'm looking forward to the days that my kids and Kim can join me at Jr. Camp. That'll make the second week even better!

This will be our third year to go on a mission trip to Cherokee Home for Children in Cherokee, TX. We've had good results working with them. I'm already looking at a couple of possibilities for summer '12. Probably in the area of tornado recovery work.
Last week of school for most of the kids around here! Hard to believe, that school year went by fast! Summer is already here heat and humidity wise. Hooray...
My brother and his wife are working on adopting a little boy from Uganda. They have two children already and after a lot of prayer about it decided to follow what they felt was a calling to adopt. We're excited for them and are enjoying the journey. Can't wait to meet our new nephew when the day comes!
